If you have two, three or four year kids these Christmas crafts ideas are namely for you. In addition, they are easy to make and you will need to obtain inexpensive items or even those everyday ones you have at home.
Starlight Santa
You will need *black marker, *Elmer’s glue, *red construction paper(beforehand you have to precut it into a 5 pointed star shape), *small buttons or *dried beans *Choking Hazard* and *wiggly eyes.
Instruction per steps.
• Ask the kid with your help to stretch and separate the cotton ball. Put a thin glue line along edges of the bottom corners of the star and two side corners as well. Then you need to help your child to put enough glue on cotton in order it to look as tops of boots or mittens.
• With your help ask your kid to draw a thick, straight line across the center of the star, under the “arms”. Let your child to glue a bean or a button in the center of the belt as the belt buckle of Santa.
• Place glue dots on the top of the top corner of the star. Put a small ball of cotton on the glue to get the top of a stocking cap. About ½ inch down, place a straight line across the star. When a cotton ball is applied, it will look like the bottom of the stocking cap.
• Put Glue on the Santa’s eyes and on a button of his nose. You may even draw a smile.
• Put some glue under the nose and mouth area. After it establish cotton in order to resemble Santa’s beard.
Snow Globe
You will need *clean and dry, *label free baby food jar , *glitter( coarse cut), *hot glue gun,* glue stick , *some water , *liquid glycerin and tiny ornament(it should fit inside the baby food jar so that it could close with at least 1/4 inch clearance).
Instruction per steps.
• Glue the ornament to the inside of the jar on the bottom. Leave it for twenty for hours.
• Let the child to sprinkle glitter inside of the baby food jar. The ornament should be covered completely with water. It is optional to pour a few drops of liquid glycerin.
• Glue the rim of the baby food jar; then tighten the lid. Leave it for twenty four hours. After this time you can wrap the ornament and present your snow globe.
Paper and Cereal Gingerbread Man
You will need * brown construction paper ( it should be precut into the shape of a gingerbread) , * some chocolate chips, *cheerios ,*froot loops, *red and white pipe cleaners, * gold/ white glitter and *Elmer’s glue.
Instruction per steps.
• Glue 2 chocolate chips on for eyes, 1 Cheerio for nose and 3-5 Froot Loops for the mouth. Now you get a face of gingerbread human.
• Glue 3 pieces of cereal down the center of the chest for “buttons.”
• About ½ inch from end put curvy glue lines in vertical lines down the arms and horizontally across the legs. Cover in glitter and leave to become dry.
• Twine red and white pipe cleaners in order to get a candy cane. Then cut to the needed size and shape into candy cane shape. Then glue it to the arm of gingerbread man.
Snowball Candles
You will need * 2 cups ivory snow soap powder, *½ cup water, *votive candle and *glitter.
Instruction per steps.
• With your help ask the kid to mix the soap powder and water until the mixture has dough like consistency.
• With your help ask the kid to roll the candle in the soap mixture until it has a shape of a snowball. Beforehand expose the candle wick.
• While the ball is wet with your help ask the kid to roll the ball into the glitter.
Leave it to dry. Now it is ready to be wrapped and presented as a gift.
