Christmas Cards

After opening Microsoft Word choose a clip art image or insert one from your own pictures.  Place this image on the top half of the page. Next to it put down a Christmas greeting such as Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.

Print the page out on regular paper after you got the right message and image.  Having a printed card on the regular paper will let you to see what the Christmas card will look like when it is printed.

If you are satisfied with it, use thick printer paper into your printer, select the needed number of cards and click on print. If you wish to make Christmas card more personal for each recipient you can create different messages or select different images for each of them. While writing the message use colored pens, they will make each Christmas card bright and colorful.

Calendar

To make a calendar’s cover choose a clip art image or insert one from your own pictures. Make it big-sized on the first page; under the picture type the year.  On the next twelve pages, select or insert different images. Note these images should be smaller than the picture placed on the first page. Type or write the name of the month under each image.  Under the months names make a table consisting of 7 columns and 5 rows.  The columns and rows should be big-sized so that they look like squares. The day of the month should be typed in each square.  Once all pages are ready, print them out and punch holes into the top of the pages.  Slide ribbon through the holes; tie the ends of the ribbon together. Thus, you have got loops that will hold the calendar together.

Cookbook

If you wish to present some of your recipes to your relatives, friends of neighbors, the homemade cookbook is the answer. After opening Microsoft Word, select a preferable font; type with big letters The Recipe. Then type up all the recipes and add images of your recipes or a clip art image of one of the ingredients, for instance, a turkey for a fried turkey.  Once the recipes are done print out all the pages.  Then punch holes into the edges of the pages. The next thing is to find a binder that has a place to put a cover page on the front of the binder.  Now it is time to make a cookbook cover.  A cute name describing the recipes along with the appropriate picture will make the cookbook cover attractive. Be sure your homemade cookbook will be a lovable Christmas present for any its recipient.
