Three Dimensional Christmas Tree
Materials needed:
• Green construction paper
• Crayons, markers, glitter glue, or tempera paint
• Scissors
• Clear tape
• Optional: Other colors of construction paper, glue, hole punch, stickers
Procedure:
• Fold a piece of green construction paper in half, after cut it in half
• Place the two pieces together, folding them in half again.
• Draw half a Christmas tree opposite the fold
• Cut along the line to receive two similar trees.
• Fold the trees in half, creasing the center line
• Cut a slit along the bottom half of the center of one tree and along the top half of the center of the other tree.
• Afterwards slip the two trees together along the slits.
• With clear tape, tape the bottoms and tops together
• Adorn your tree using crayons, markers, glitter glue, or tempera paint.
• Glue on miniature construction paper decorations.
• Use a Hole punch to cut out small paper balls.
• Cut out a small construction paper star and cut a tiny slit in it.
• Arrange the star on the top of the tree to serve as Christmas tree topper. •
Paper Christmas Signpost
Materials needed:
• Thick sheet of paper and red and green colored papers
• A large craft stick
• Craft Knife
• Permanent marker
• White glitter
• 5-inch piece of ribbon.
• Glue
Procedure:
• Coat a large craft stick with white acrylic paint and the other one using green paint.
• Allow them to dry
• Add stripes of red paint to the white stick.
• With the help of craft knife cut a 3-inch section from the green stick, notch each end to create an arrow shape. Put down» North Pole” on the sign in permanent marker
• Glue the sign to the red-and-white craft stick.
• Cut shapes of felt holly leaves from green paper red mini pom-pom berries from red paper.
• Glue them on to the red-and-white craft stick
• Make dribs of white paint, sprinkling on white glitter to get the effect of snow.
• Glue both ends of a 5-inch piece of ribbon to the back of the signpost to serve as a hanger and allow the glue to dry.
