Christmas is over and you have to focus on the new coming year. But before that, use these tips to organize much easier your next Christmas holiday.

If you do not want to miss any of the people who sent you Christmas cards, make a list with their names. Add the names of the rest of the people you want to, and save it on your computer. It will be easy every time through the year to add the name of a new friend or new colleague you want to sent Christmas card next year.

Usually after the holiday, the many shops organize big sales. Use that and buy as many cards as you need. Do the same with the wrapping paper. This can save you up to 60%of the price.

If you want to save your Christmas decoration for the next year, you have to buy big enough storage containers. But if you want to surprise family and friends with new ones, then you can go on the traditional January sales and this money can help you for the next year new decoration.

You can use the same list with names you did and choose the people you want to buy presents for. Write next to their names what you would like to buy and throughout the year, use the big sales to buy what you can. Calculate how much you have spent for this years Christmas holiday- cards, gifts, special food and cloths, Christmas decoration and other expenses. Separate the amount into 12. Now you will know how much you have to save each in the next months to avoid the big Christmas credits.

Ask your family and closer friends what were the most interesting and the least liked things and activities they did. This will help you to focus on the preferred activities and you will avoid the ones that nobody liked.

Make Something Different for Your Christmas Tree

Turn the ordinary objects into wonderful Christmas tree decoration. The standard colored Christmas balls can be embellished with craft store jewels, nice stickers or you can use glitter paints and spay them. Other possibility is to attach handmade bows, different ribbons or craft paints too.

If you want to go back to the times when you ware a kid, remember the cute paper snowflakes that you made at school. They are very simple but in the same time very sweet yet. You can spend few hours enjoying with your children while preparing them.

Make them in different sizes- small, medium and large. Color some of them in golden and others in silver color, but leave most white. When ready iron them. For snow effect use snow spray or cotton.

For your children’s room, you can make unique decoration with yours and your kid’s toys. For better result choose main theme-if your kid prefer you can decorate it with his favorite bears or dolls. To the larger branches hang the heavier items and the lighter on the higher ones. Than tie some nice ribbons. If the toys are not enough, goon with some plain glass balls and garlands.
An interesting decision is to fold many origami figures. You have two possibilities- to choose a theme and to make all the same in different colors, or to make each one unique but in the same color.

If you will spend the Christmas will your relatives and kids, you can make a really nice surprise for them if decorate the tree with candy garlands. Glue together the cellophane wrappers end to end and you will create an extravagant Christmas tree decoration.

Really unusual but quite nice looking decoration can be unused china or silver set cups. With beautiful ribbons in the Christmas colors you can hang them on the tree branches. Also you can add some sugar bows, spoons or even tea spots. Finish the decoration with lots of teabags spread on the branches.

Garland Tips for Christmas Tree

Here we will try to give you some tips for the different ways you can use garlands on your tree, how to place it on the tree and how much you will have to use.

You will need an approximately 3 m garland per metre of tree. So if your tree is around 2 m, you will need around 6 m garlands. Of course you can buy more to be safe. Use the extra, on the wreaths or mantle.

If you are wandering how to place the garlands, you should know that the gently swaged garlands look more beautiful than the one which form diagonal or straight lines on the Christmas tree. If the tree in your house is large enough and there is enough space between the branches than you can choose deeply swagged garland.

When decorating the Christmas tree, do not forget that first you have to place the electric lamps and than the garlands. When the garlands are placed than and the resт of your Christmas tree decoration can be added.

To create more interesting decoration use different style garlands. If you swag 2 typed, than use the principles of repetition and size variation. For example, you can use wide blue iceling garland wit medium golden garland and a small golden beaded garland. If you want the garland to stay where you have place it , than you have to attach it. But if the branches of your Christmas tree are small or are delicate, the garland can slip off. The decision is to wound flexible garlands around these branches, so it will hold them. Some people want to make something more different and use small pieces of wire or ribbons instead of garlands.

To place the garlands vertically, attach them to the top of the tree and add some turns and twists and your Christmas tree will look more beautiful.

Christmas Pinecones

The old traditions on Christmas are mixed with new ideas.
They are connected with the preparation and the feelings around Christmas. To decorate the house in a proper way, you have to buy many presents for your family and decorating the Christmas tree, to cook delicious meals and to enjoy the beauty of your house. We will give you some Christmas decoration ideas for your home and of course, using your imagination you can make them more suitable for your home.

 Some of the Christmas decorations are more official; others are with sparkling and third are with wooden shapes. In all compositions, you can place the typical green Brunch from the Christmas tree. In the Christmas decorations, you can use different candles, Christmas balls in different sizes, golden and silver ribbons, dry flowers, Christmas cookies and others. Of course, you have to plan everything earlier so you will be able to gather all the items you will need.

Make you own candleholders: on a circle piece of wood, make a tiny hole in the middle and nit a candle thee. With some glue, stick a green Christmas branch. Around the wooden piece, stick small beautiful golden decoration balls. Other very original idea is to take a piece of candle and stick it. Add one or two Christmas balls in golden color and choose proper place in your home. On a square wooden piece, stick two or three pinecones. With small silver balls can add some color. If you can, try to make a nice snowman. Use pinecones to decorate the house. Tie different colors ribbons on each pinecone and with small golden pins attach them on the walls. You can use the pinecones as a table decoration. Tie silver and golden ribbons over and spread them around the house and on the table.

Christmas Tree

The Christmas tee requires special care if you want to enjoy it for longer.

The decoration of the Christmas tree is one of the most pleasant moments. The family gathers at home and enjoys this pleasant moment. But very often we leave the decoration of the Christmas tree for the last moment because only few days after it is done the leaves start to fall all around the house. And at Christmas night you can find your Christmas tree only with its branches.

What can we do to keep it live longer? First it is very important to find the proper tree. The pines are more tenacious bur they are not so beautiful. If you want to take a fir-tree at home you should know that the Normands are more tenacious. They are more beautiful because of it ticker. Widely distributed ere the European fir-trees but unfortunately they are the most short-lasting ones. When you buy your Christmas tree keep it in a cool and ventilated place. Cut 2-3 sm of the stem before decorate it. Fit it in a place where you will be able to water it.

But if this year you want to buy real, live Christmas tree choose one in a pot. Think about to finding a proper place for it after the holiday. You have to keep it in a cool place too and do not forget to water it. If it is very cold and the soil frosts your Christmas tree may die. Pour it with warm water. You can keep the planted tree for few years if your pot is big enough. When the temperatures go up to 5-6C you can plant the tree in a suitable place. Dig a hole which is 10 sm deeper then the roots of the tree .Place some stones on the bottom and plant it.
