You have only few days to Christmas but you Christmas decoration is not ready yet, you do not want to spend much money but you want your home to be cozy and changed. Then we may help you with some really good ideas. You will need the typical Christmas decoration items: different color garlands, candles, ribbons and other similar things.

To prepare a beautiful Christmas wreaths you will have to buy shaped as a wreath wire from the special flowers shop. Cut some pieces from box-tree and tie them to the wire. In the middle you can place wide and low candle. Spread over the wreath some tropical small fruits. Over them coil with a cord.

Quite unusual but very attractive is the next decoration. Fill a beautiful, colored plate with sand, semolina or something similar. But if you want to create something more special allow the kids to come with you and go shopping together. Then you can add in the basket some more ribbons, stickers, glitters and markers. These items will help you to create real Christmas masterpieces.

Provide enough space at home for the kids. If you have a big table, allow the kids to work their. It will give them plenty of room. To protect the table and the floor, spread out some newspapers or an old cloth. This will help you too, because it will be much easier to clean up after them. It may be a real mess after that.

If your kids are too young to work with scissors, then you better help them if they need. Coffee Creamer Snowman
If you have an empty coffee creamer container and a salt box you can make a cute snowman decoration for Christmas. The snowman’s hat is glued over the lid of the coffee creamer container, so you can use it as a container for Christmas goodies or candies. This is very cheap craft and you need coffee creamer container, salt box container, black, white and red construction paper pieces, two small twigs, three small buttons, black markers, straw broom, golden ribbon, snowflake confetti, sugar ,and orange paint. Also you will need scissors and glue.

Wash the coffee creamer container with soap water and then dry it completely. Then with white construction paper wrap the container. To make the face with the black marker draw the eyes, with red marker you can draw the mouth and with red, the snowman’s nose. To make the snowman’s hat, the salt box will has to fit around the coffee creamer lid. On black construction paper draw a circle about 2sm larger than the hat diameter. Cut out this circle and place the coffee creamer lid in the middle of the circle. To the bottom of the hat glue the hat brim circle. The scarf can be 1 sm, wide piece of cloth and approximately 15 sm long. Tie it around the neck of the snowman and place a knot on one side of the neck. From small slightly curved twigs you can make the snowman hands. Now glue them to the body.  On the top of the hat you can glue some salt or sugar and on the light it will look like real snow. Also you can attach a small golden bell or holly leaves.

CD Snowman
From an old CD you can make a wonderful Snowman decoration. This is very easy craft and all you need is discarded CD, juice can lid, white spray, three buttons, black permanent marker, small piece of red or orange fabric to use as a craft. First you have to paint the CD and the juice can lid with white spay on both sides. Leave them aside to dry completely. With the black market draw the snowman’s eyes and mouth, from small piece of orange fabric, make the nose and stick it. Glue the CD with the lid to form the body. Tie a fabric strip on the neck as a scarf.

Santa Claus Hat
You need red construction paper, glue and cotton balls. Cut out two large triangles of the construction paper. Then staple them together and make them to fit your kids head. Glue small cotton balls on the bottom edge.

Santa Claus Face
Paint you child’s hand in a flesh color from the center down and from the center up to the twist in red color and the fingers in white. Then handprint the hand with the fingers pointing down, on a white construction paper or on the window. When ready you can allow your kid to decorate the Santa Clause face with black marker for his eyes and with whatever color he wants he can draw his mouth.

Pasta Wreath
Make an extravagant wreath using pasta. You need small paper plates, different shaped pasta, glue, paint spray. You have to cut out the bottom of each plate with scissors. Then stick the pasta noodles around the ring and let it dry for 2 hours. Then with the spray paint the noodles in the color you have chosen. Let it dry again ant tie a nice Christmas ribbon.

Green Wreath
You need paper plate, evergreen branches and ribbons. Cut the bottom of the paper plate and with glue stick the branches. Leave it to dry for 1 hour. Then tie different colors ribbons. Other possibility is to tie the branches with one color ribbon and to stick different origami figures over.

Now you will need wooden hoops and fabric piece. Paint the hoops in red color. With green, paint your kid’s hands and he has to make overlapped hand prints in a circle on the fabric. The circle should be a little bit smaller than the hoop is. Leave for a while to dry and paint the kid’s finger tips in red color. Now he has to make finger prints in group of three on some places over the green prints. When the paint dry, tight it in the hoop. That is a great parents Christmas present.

Hand print wreath
You need a lot of green construction paper, red ribbon, scissors, pencil and glue. Cut out a hand print on a piece of green construction paper. Then cut out14 more. Glue them together by covering a little bit of the twists. Leave it to dry and glue a red ribbon. Your wreath is ready.

Christmas paper stocking
You need brown paper, scissors, pen, glue, yarn and small pieces different color construction paper. Draw a large stocking on brown paper and cut two copies. Glue only the edges but do not put any glue on the top. Make small holes around the edges when completely dry and wave red yarn in and out the holes. At the top end leave a piece of yarn, tie it. You can cut out small Christmas theme ornaments to decorate it. You can hang it and stuff it with Christmas goodies.

Christmas tree card
You need apiece of construction paper 30/40 sm red or yellow color. Fold it in half to form your card. Cut out from green paper 5 triangles. Cut out first the smallest one 1/1/1sm.Then each next should be a little big bigger then the previous one. The smallest one will be the top of your tree and the biggest to be at the bottom. Glue firth the biggest one and with the next cover its top. When glue the smallest one leave to dry for 15 minutes. At this time cut out small star of the yellow paper. If you want draw some small ornaments and you can write your Christmas message.

Snowman Christmas card
You need 30/40 sm blue construction paper. Fold it into half. Cut out three circles of white paper-small, medium, big. Glue the biggest on the bottom of the card and the smallest on the top. Cut small hat from black construction paper and glue it too. Draw with markers eyes, mouth and carrot-shaped nose. Glue very thin glue around the snowman and dust with sugar. When it is dry lots of snowflakes will appear.

Paper chains
You need different colors construction paper, scissors and glue. Cut pieces 15 sm long and 1 sm wide. Then glue the ends of the strip and put the next through the first one. Make the chain as long as you want.

Handprint Tree
You need green paper, yellow paper, glue and small pieces of other colors paper. All you need to do is to mark and cut out 5-7 times your kids handprints. Then let him glue them with the fingers pointed down. Cut out big star from the yellow paper and glue it on the top. Now you have your Christmas tree. Cut small ball shaped figures and decorate it.

Christmas tree
You need green paper and some different shaper bright colors pieces. Mark and cut same size triangles. Glue them on white paper. Glue the first on the top. The top of the second has to cover the end of the first. Cut a piece of brown paper for bottom and leave enough place to glue the small presents you have prepared before. Decorate the Christmas tree with different shaped figures.

Christmas tree balls
You need a lot of tissue paper. Make different sizes balls. Then wrap them in red, orange yellow or blue foil. Turn a paper clipper into v-shaped form and glue it on the top. Now you can decorate your Christmas tree.

How to make snowflakes?
All you need are white papers and scissors. Cut out pieces of the white paper in square or oval form. Then fold them in half, then again in half. Cut out very small pieces on different places and with different shapes. When you open the white paper you will see unique and beautiful snowflakes. Do the same with the other pieces but never cut on the same place. This guarantees that all your snowflakes will be different. Now you can decorate your house or the Christmas tree.
